Hardwood Floor Stain Color - Be Bold and Beautiful

White - One of the most popular non-classic hardwood floor colors is white. There are two very unique and opposite looks that use white wood flooring to great effect. The first trend is using white hardwood flooring to compliment minimalist interiors that focus on statement artwork or furniture pieces. The second trend is using the white hardwood flooring to go with a calm, beachy environment. White hardwood floors with the chic, beach look often are accented in blues and greens.

Gray - Gray hardwood flooring is the perfect well-behaved neutral that doesn't disagree or outdo other colors. This versatile trend can work with natural and beige tone, or be a base for a unconventional and eccentric interior design. However, gray toned hardwood flooring is very much a popular trend now that could possibly date a room several years down the line.

Black - Black hardwood flooring is associated with sleek elegance making it the perfect backdrop for lavish Art Deco inspired interiors. This trend looks best with very simple colors including black, white and small doses of red, all accented with chrome, silver, copper, or gold.
